- driven with a personal passion to improve sports racing bicycles
- from the late 1970s he imported bare-metal racing frames from Italy
- frames were painted in Germany, fitted with components and sold at eyewatering prices
- in 1980 he organised his own professional racing team to promote his brand
- due to tax problems in Germany he started rebranding his bicycles as Kotter frames this rare Kondor track bike is chromium plated with wooden rims
- a truly handsome throughbred
